But if you want a sharp cut *and* the warm, golden glow that comes with supporting a local business that pairs world class service with a community-driven mission to empower its employees, clients and neighbors? There’s only one option: Art + Science.
Now with four locations across Chicago, Art + Science has been in the business of progressive thought and style for over 24 years. The salon hired us to start work on a comprehensive brand overhaul.
Identity & Stationery
We created a full suite of stationery, including a gift certificate set in which every piece fit seamlessly together, literally connecting the new brand to the gift — just a clever little way to build good will among the salon’s clientele.
Simple binding materials and reflective, transparent foil stamps, alongside aptly positioned die cuts, radiate the brand’s smart and sleek identity.
Store Design & Signage
Starting with the flagship Wicker Park location, we worked with their architect and creative directors to apply the new identity throughout the space. Dark wood and glass meet black and white accents, coming together for a look that is timeless, sleek and sexy as hell.
We also created new outdoor signage to attract passerby around the always bustling Six Corners.
