Inspire Girls Academy
A Powerful Brand for Empowered Young Women
The founders of Inspire Girls Academy, a gutsy and brilliant trio of sisters, had a bold vision: a non-parochial, all-girls elementary school dedicated to holistic education and empowerment. With Chicago’s notoriously competitive independent school market, IGA needed a powerful identity and full suite of marketing materials to attract local families.

Brand & Identity
After some initial research to discover parents' priorities and dreams for their children's educations, we realized that IGA needed to be seen as smart, innovative and a little bit daring.
We developed a broad, bright palette, using vivid hues interchangeably to create a youthful exuberance, balancing those with tall, slender custom lettering that feels simple, confident. The letter R was a standout moment—its angles ended up influencing the geometry of the entire system.
We experimented with various icons, eventually settling on a small undulating line that we began using as a framing device or accent. Soon enough, we came to think of it as a symbol for the Inspire student herself—a bright zig in a sea of zags, a delightful little detail with the power to transform the space around it

II.
Booklet
We poured a lot of love into the design and production of the IGA booklet, wanting it to be engaging, memorable, a touch out of the ordinary.
With pages nested one inside the next, the booklet reflects the school's focus on hands-on discovery and commitment to lasting quality. Each page packs a lot of emotion; lively portraits are paired with words crafted to tug on the heart strings.

Website
The website expands on the brand's highly structured, yet seamless look and feel. The system's full palette, geometry and imagery come together, creating well-defined spaces for high impact messages that draw visitors in and guide them through the site, where they can learn more about the school's origin story and innovative approach to empowering education.
