2005 Faith In Place

Partnering with religious congregations to promote clean energy and sustainable farming, this nonprofit gives religious people the tools to become good stewards of the earth. Before the grant, they were working with 75 congregations—a year and a half later, they were working with over 400. Their annual benefit was completely sold out in 2006 and needed to move to a larger location to accommodate all the new folks in 2007. In addition, their personal donations increased by over 50%. With all the resulting support, they were able to move their office to a great new location.
