Lora Fosberg was born in Waukegan, Illinois and received her Masters of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1992. Her journey as an artist has been to connect profoundly with personalities, the life of her family, her upbringing and the stories of her experience to create open-ended works that suggest but do not dictate narratives. Lora's artwork is created with a wide variety of mediums; primarily she draws with india ink and gouache, adding to the very illustrative quality of her work.
