If Humbolt Park wasn't already the best kept secret in this town...today it just got even better.
I, we, the people of HP welcome our friends from the northside. Today was the groundbreaking for Little Cubs Field in the park. I'm so excited, not just because the Cubs are my favorite team, but how cool will it be when we get to play against our arch rivals, Early to Bed in our annual softball game.
Don't worry, there should be plenty of room for everyone to come watch, the stadium will have 480 covered seats and 280 outfield bleachers–a perfect seat for you to catch my homerun ball.
