Since our recent re-launch of Reason To Give, I've been busy making the case to family + friends for why they should consider using the site as an alternative to buying holiday gifts. It's a perfect solution for those hard-to-buy-for people—the folks who already "have everything", the obligatory in-laws and your Secret Santa co-worker. And considering the research findings discussed in this Harvard Working Knowledge article, "prosocial" spending (giving money to those who need it more than you do) has been scientifically proven to make you happier and more content. See, those "warm + fuzzy" feelings are REAL.
