In honor of women's history month, I thought we should take a few minutes to reflect on how far women have struggled to come, and how much there is still to do. The image is from the largest march for women's rights ever in this country in 2004. It was spectacular. I know; I was there.
We slept on park benches in D.C. and marched right up to the White House, each of us with our own list of demands, but all unified as women. Of course former President Bush refused to address the crowd and raised the terror alert to red that day. Watch the video below too, it is just a glimpse into all the struggles women around the world face on a daily basis.
