Today in our capital, thousands of global warming/climate change activists are gathering and marching. It will be the largest organization of civil disobedience focusing on climate change in history.
Greenpeace has made it easy to get involved and is asking non-marchers to call their Congress-people and ask them to quickly pass legislation to cap global warming emissions.
350.org says of the event: "Now is a critical time to show that people everywhere are uniting behind...a future safe from the ravages of climate change. Stand in solidarity with them by signing the following statement: I stand in solidarity with the coalition of citizens working for a clean energy future for the entire planet."
Make some calls, sign the solidarity statement: be part of this exciting moment!
