What's the cheapest, easiest form of PR available today? We all know the answer. Though I have avoided immersing myself fully in the social media outlets in the past; I've now found it to be a great way to spread the word about Firebelly's non-profit program Reason to Give.
I'm diving head first into new media and thankfully my college student volunteers know what their doing. So here is another peice of free PR: Check out Reason to Give on Facebook; we also now have a fan page and a cause.
And if Facebook isn't your thing; don't worry my volunteers have been hard at work. You can check out what's going on with Reason to Give at ammado. Or find out what we need help with on VolunteerMatch.

In honor of women's history month, I thought we should take a few minutes to reflect on how far women have struggled to come, and how much there is still to do. The image is from the largest march for women's rights ever in this country in 2004. It was spectacular. I know; I was there.
We slept on park benches in D.C. and marched right up to the White House, each of us with our own list of demands, but all unified as women. Of course former President Bush refused to address the crowd and raised the terror alert to red that day. Watch the video below too, it is just a glimpse into all the struggles women around the world face on a daily basis.
